1. What is Certify and how does it work?
Certify is an online skill assessment and certification platform operated by SoftMaji InfoTech Pvt. Ltd. You choose an assessment, complete the required payment, take the assessment through our online system, and receive a certificate if you meet the assessment's required passing score.
2. Why does Certify charge an assessment fee?
The assessment fee is charged for providing access to the assessment and the infrastructure required to conduct it. Your payment helps cover secure exam delivery, assessment content, server resources, anti-cheat and security systems, payment processing, result processing, certificate generation, and the infrastructure used to maintain your digital certificate for verification.
3. What is included in the assessment fee?
The assessment fee gives you access to the selected assessment and its secure online exam session. If you meet the required passing criteria, your digital certificate is included. Optional services such as a detailed performance report, improvement or re-exam attempt, and physical certificate delivery may have separate charges.
4. Does paying the assessment fee guarantee a certificate?
No. The assessment fee gives you the opportunity to take the assessment. A certificate is issued only when you meet or exceed the passing score specified for that assessment. Payment alone does not guarantee certification.
5. How long do I get to complete an assessment?
The duration depends on the assessment you choose. The exact time limit and passing percentage are displayed on the assessment details page before you begin. Once an assessment has started, its timer cannot be paused.
6. What happens if I fail an assessment?
If you do not reach the required passing score, a certificate is not issued for that attempt. You may purchase another assessment session if you want to try again. The original assessment payment is not refunded simply because the passing score was not achieved.
7. Are there any subscriptions or hidden fees?
Certify does not require a recurring subscription for taking an assessment. The exact assessment fee is shown before you confirm payment. Optional services are charged separately only when you choose to purchase them.
8. What optional services are available?
Depending on the assessment, you may be able to purchase an optional detailed performance report, another assessment attempt or score improvement attempt, or a professionally printed physical certificate. The applicable price is displayed before you purchase the service.
9. Can I get a physical copy of my certificate?
Yes. Your digital certificate is included when you successfully complete an assessment and meet its passing criteria. If physical certificate delivery is available for your assessment, you can request a printed copy separately for the applicable printing and delivery fee.
10. How can someone verify my certificate?
Certificates issued by Certify contain verification details that can be checked through the public Certificate Verification Portal. This allows an employer, recruiter, institution, or other authorized person to confirm the certificate information recorded by Certify.
11. What happens if there is a technical problem during my assessment?
If a verified technical failure on the Certify platform prevents you from completing your assessment, contact our support team within 24 hours. Under our Refund Policy, eligible technical failures are handled by resetting the assessment and providing a replacement attempt rather than issuing a cash refund.
12. Can I get a refund if I change my mind or fail the assessment?
Assessment payments are non-refundable. This includes situations where you change your mind, do not achieve the passing score, or your assessment is terminated because of a violation of the assessment rules. If a verified technical failure occurs on our platform, we provide a replacement attempt according to our Refund Policy.
13. Is Certify a university degree or government certification?
No. Certify certificates confirm that a candidate passed a specific skill assessment conducted through our platform. They are not university degrees, government licenses, or a guarantee of employment. Acceptance of a certificate is ultimately determined by the organization or person reviewing it.
14. Does Certify monitor assessments for cheating?
Certify uses assessment integrity and anti-cheat controls. Depending on the assessment, activity such as tab switching and window focus may be monitored, and certain assessments may use camera, microphone, or other proctoring features. Violations of the assessment rules can result in the assessment being terminated and the attempt being failed.
